Smartipants Review & Giveaway

Smartipants was created by Jessica in 2002 when she was trying to find an eco-friendly, yet affordable option to the modern day cloth diapers. She created her own pattern for a OS pocket diaper to save time and money rather than purchasing 24-36 diapers in each of the 5 available sizes, at the time.


Smartipants carries single smartipants, 'smart start' 3 packs as well as smart sleeve microfiber inserts. Jessica was kind enough to send us a smartipants in white for our review.

Likes:  I like the super trim design of this diaper as well as the adjustable waist snaps. I love that it doesn't take a huge insert to prevent leaks. Makes this mama very happy.

Dislikes: The only thing that I don't like about this diaper is the pocket. I almost think it looks like the pocket was an after thought as it was just kind of sewn onto the diaper, not really into. It can also be a little more tedious to stuff because the pocket is the exact same size as the insert so it can take a bit to make sure it's in and flat.
