Cloth for the Coast

I am sure many, if not all, of you are well aware of the oil leak in the gulf coast. And I am sure many, if not all, of you are well aware of the effects this oil leak has cause the wildlife and surrounding ecosystem. The damage is horrendous. I simply cannot imagine how many thousands of animals have been affected in so many devastating ways. Their homes are covered in oil. Their breeding grounds. Their food. Everything is covered in oil. I don't know about you but could you imagine what that would be like? To wake up to see that your entire world, everything you depended on, was gone, and not know why? Us, as humans, know why this happened. Animals do not. It is our responsibility to save them and undo the effects of what us, as humans, caused.

How can we undo it? Cloth For The Coast is asking for all your old baby blankets, towels, old cloth prefolds and old diaper inserts. All these items can only be used once, to clean the oil off of animals. Once used, they must be discarded of.
