Day 17 - A book you've read that changed your views on something?
Who cares!! IT'S.A.STUPID.BOOK.PEOPLE!!!!! COME ON!! That is... until I read it. I turned into the person I trash talked. Me! I became a crazy, psycho Twilight fan! And... I even did the unthinkable!!! I took sides! I'm team Edward all the way, baby! I have a Twilight calendar in my kitchen and have the boxed set of hardbacks right on my side table next to my recliner! I am a Twilight adict and I could eat Edward in a heartbeat. HA! He's delicious!
What book has changed your views on something?
No joke, this same thing happened to me. I remember being at IHOP the night Twilight was released and we were surrounded by black haired emo kids and my husband said, "Did a My Chemical Romance concert just let out?" LOL! I made fun of all of my friends, and then I got hooked.
ReplyDeleteNot nearly as bad as my mother in law, who listens to the audio books on a non-stop rotating schedule in her car. Non-stop. Literally.
I can't say it's changed my views, but the Bible is a book that helps give me my views.
ReplyDeleteI have only seen the first movie, about a year ago and I waited for it to come out on DVD. I never read the books because I was pretty sure I would also become one of 'those people'
ReplyDeleteI just commented on this somewhere else...I read these when they first came out and spent the whole series thinking, "oh just bite her already" and "oh just do it already" :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Terra... and while I can't say there's another book that has changed my views on something (probably because I haven't read a book in a while!), I do enjoy listening to old time radio programs. Mostly detective mysteries.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I have not read the books or seen the movies! I am soo uncool!!
