CSN Stores, if you haven't heard, is over 200+ retailers all under one roof. It's a place where you can buy a couch, shoes, baby toys and some tools for your husband at the same place and not spend time traveling around town. What can get better than that? CSN has offered up another review for us and this time, we were lucky enough to review some baby toys. We received a Linkables by Jeep, Sunny Stroll Arch by Tiny Love and a Toy Baby Drum by Edushape.
Linkables by Jeep: We love these links because they can be attached to almost any toy and keep them inside the stroller, car seat, or attached to the diaper bag for easy location. I also love them because they've become a toy all by themselves. It doesn't take much to entertain my son and give him a few links linked together and he loves to inspect them, chomp on them and try to figure them out. Rating: 10 out of 10
Sunny Stroll Arch by Tiny Love: This was a lifesaver, recently, when we went on a 9 (and 11) hour road trip to my mom's house. Little J was content to play with his toys that were strapped to his car seat for safe keeping. The only problem that I had with this toy is that we have a big convertible car seat and the sides are super thick and padded so we had to get a little creative when trying to clamp it on the sides. Even then it came off once. The other problem was that one of the toys were very easy to pull off. It was strapped on with a piece of fabric and velcro but regardless of how I tried to keep it on, he'd grab it and rip it back off. After replacing it twice, it was taken off for good. Rating: 8 out of 10
Toy Baby Drum by Edushape: We love this drum. Both us and the little J, alike. We all love it. We love the deep drum sound that it makes and we love that Little J can beat on it to his hearts content. What we don't like about this drum is the fact that the outside of it is made out of paper and the drum skin itself is made out of what looks to be a thick cellophane. I don't like that. I have a feeling by the time he's one it's going to be broken because it's not the best quality. That makes me sad. Also, the drum sticks are a hazard, to me. See photo and you'll see why. I can see him either shoving them down his throat and choking on them or stabbing himself in the eye. They're a no go in my book. We only let him play with them when we're sitting right there with him and once he's done, they get put away in a drawer and he's allowed to play with the drum with his hands. He LOVES the beat on this drum and has been called our 'little drummer boy' since he was able to move around the floor. Rating: 6 out of 10
Overall impression of CSN (not the toys): 10 out of 10
