Campus Book Rentals

I remember the worst part about going to school was purchasing my text books. Not only did it cost a lot of money but when I did purchase them, I had nothing to do with them when I was finished. The online college that I went to did not want them back so I was essentially out of the money that I spent. I don't like excessive waste or throwing perfectly good things away so you can bet that my huge box of text books still sits in my garage.

Recently I was approached about a company called Campus Book Rentals. With Campus Book Rentals, you can RENT your books, instead of purchasing them, and simply return them when you are finished. They'll even let you use highlighters in their books, as well!!

Here's how it works:

1. Search for your text books, here.
2. Rent your textbooks for the period you will need them.
3. Receive your textbooks with FREE shipping offerred and use them.
4. Return them in the envelope provided and not have to worry about shipping!

Are you worried about dropped classes? Well you don't have to! With Campus Book Rentals, any book returned within the first 30 days will be fully refunded.

They also offer a 15 day grace period when returning your books, that way if you are a few days late getting your books back, you don't have to worry about extra fees due.

Rental Periods:

Semester: 130 days - This was designed for students attending full semester classes.
Quarter: 85 days - This was designed for students on quarters or in a master's program.

Summer: 55 days - This was designed for students taking summer or condensed courses year round.

They also offer rental extensions and re-rentals if you find yourself needing the same book. If you decide that you would like to keep your book, you can simply log in to your account and click the "Buy and Keep my Books" button and Campus Book Rentals will subtract the rental amount from the purchase amount and you can purchase your book to keep forever.

You can also refer friends and save ever more money!

Why would you pay full price for a text book when you can rent one and a much lower cost and return it when you're done. Why keep it around, like I have? Speaking of keeping text books around, they also offer a program that purchases text books, so if you do have any laying around that you might want to sell, you can find more information, here.

Campus Book Rentals is also partnering up with Operation Smile to provide life changing cleft lip surgeries to children who's families could otherwise not afford it. They have committed to donating enough money to perform at least 1,000 cleft lip surgeries to children in need. They are also donating a percentage of each book rental to up the ante and donate enough to perform even more than they originally planned. So don't be afraid to add that extra book to your cart. You are helping in this amazing effort and supplying kids with a new smile and a new found confidence that will last a lifetime. You can read more about the program, here.
